With a deep love for children and a passion for helping them experience the love of God, Yayumi serves as our Director of Children’s Ministry. A devoted mother of five, including a child with special needs, she brings both personal experience and spiritual insight to her role. Having walked through life’s storms and witnessed the faithfulness of God, Yayumi brings a heart full of compassion, resilience, and hope.
She believes children are not just the future of the church—they are a vital part of it today. Her vision is to create an inclusive, Christ-centered environment where every child feels seen, valued, and loved. Working in close partnership with the Family Life Pastor, Yayumi is committed to equipping both families and the church to be actively involved in the spiritual development of children. She believes discipleship is most effective when the whole community comes together to nurture faith, and she works to empower parents, caregivers, and volunteers to be a meaningful part of that journey.
In her spare time you can find Yayumi at the local pool swimming laps or cheering her kids on at soccer games!
